Skiing at Nevis Range
The cottage is ideally located for a ski holiday, with skiing at Nevis Range just 15 minutes away. All the runs are accessed via the UK’s only mountain gondola. You can see the top gondola station from the cottage deck and so can make your own weather report before you set out.
Nevis Range is Scotland’s highest ski area and consequently has the longest season. The top gondola station boasts a substantial cafe with panoramic views across the Great Glen and along Loch Eil towards Eigg, Rum and Muck. Ski hire and ski school available.

Skiing at Glencoe
If you feel the need of a change of scene, then the Glencoe Mountain ski area is just over an hour’s drive away.
Glencoe was Scotland’s first ski resort and now boasts 19 runs and 7 lifts, all accessed by a chairlift from near the A82 road. Set where Rannoch Moor meets the entrance to Glen Coe itself the location and scenery are stunning.

Skiing at Cairngorms
Cairngorm Mountain, the UK’s largest ski resort is also just over an hour’s drive away. Featuring over 30km of ski runs, Cairngorm also boasts fine views, ski hire and ski school.
