The cottage living room is stylishly and comfortably set out. The new snuggle sofa from Sofa So Good is as comfortable as you could wish. The oak double futon folds out into a comfortable bed which can be used to complement the beds upstairs.
After a day in the great outdoors you can curl up and get warm and cosy in front of a real fire. Instructions are provided, for those unused to lighting a stove, and in the colder months we’ll leave you a basket of wood and kindling to get you going.
The Freesat TV has a range of channels, and connects to the wifi to access a range of catch-up tv. There is also a DVD player, with a range of DVDs for children and adults, and a stereo for CDs.
A selection of board games and children’s toys are available, along with a range of books, including a Scottish collection. On the upstairs landing there is a bookswap, where you can help yourself to some light-hearted reading and leave behind the books you have finished for the next person to enjoy.
What our guests say:
“We’ve just spent a wonderful 5-day holiday in Lochaber Cottage with our two teenage kids. The place is a home-from-home experience (only we don’t have such stunning views from our own apartment).” Guest, July 2014
“It is a beautiful and peaceful location, so quiet. Just the sounds of the river and birds. And the views of the Nevis Range from the decking are amazing.” Guest, March 2014
